Out of the Muck

In this 2008 Award-Winner, Geraldean Matthew helps to lift her fellow former Apopka Farmworkers, who are ill and impoverished, Out of the Muck. The first version of this film was part of the Campus Movie Fest, a one week movie making competition.

This film documents the Lake Mack community of Central Florida, destroyed by the February 2nd tornadoes. Despite the devastation and heartache, this community proved to be stronger than its walls.
